Calin spent over a decade working in higher education allowing him to work at multiple universities across the United States in leadership roles of advising, academic certification, and compliance. His management and consulting expertise included the oversight of various systems, policies, internal procedures, and compliance efforts. He earned both a bachelor’s & and master’s degree from Marshall University and continued his graduate studies in Instructional Design and Technology, as well as Higher Education Leadership at the University of North Dakota. With strengths including building systems, helping to develop employees, and his vision for serving others he decided to leverage his expertise and energy by formalizing his consulting company CoAlign, LLC.
Calin is the owner of CoAlign, co-founder of LemLac Corporation, Retreat Solutions, Creating Goodness, and is the chief engineer of the educational courses & seminars produced at LemLac.
Melanie has collected two decades of experience creating multiple socially and spiritually conscious companies from the ground up. Spending her first decade as a decorated healing-artist, holding master’s certifications in Medical Massage Therapy and Reiki Energy Medicine, she scaled her large private practice to span across North America. During that time, she also served as an adjunct professor at Arbor College School of Massage as a pre-natal specialist and doula. In a wild turn of events, Melanie was cast in an Emmy Award Winning Television Show out of Los Angeles, California that lead to many new and expansive business opportunities. Those collected experiences inspired her to eventually move back to her hometown to launch AlmaDiem: A Business Community– Knoxville, Tennessee’s first co-working space for
small businesses. Through that avenue she consulted hundreds of businesses over the last decade traveling nationally and internationally hosting seminars and workshops, emceeing events, and motivating crowds. Her topics are high-energy, content-rich, powerhouse-presentations that educate and enhance professional and personal growth &development. She is an innovator, thought leader, and entrepreneur whose mission is to transform the lives of others by inspiring &awakening the possibilities within.

Our Story
Melanie and Calin’s first date began as the restaurant doors opened at Chivo Taqueria. What was going to be a one margarita meetup, turned into an intriguingly fun and flirty conversation that lasted until the exhausted employees began mopping underfoot and the bright house lights were blatantly illuminated, an inference saying, “you don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here.” These two captivated acquaintances became inseparable ever since.
They did not know then that the best first date of their lives would turn into a layered
partnership of purpose.
Upon meeting, Mel and Cal were both well established in their careers; however,
serendipitously and separately the pair felt a calling to give back and serve differently than their current career iterations. They excitedly started to explore their individual ideas and intentions when organically they discovered combining their gifts & talents yielded a spectacular heart- driven business model, and thus LemLac was born.
Melanie and Calin delight in curating inspiring experiences for people to connect, heal, share, and grow. They believe that when you heal yourself, you heal the world—and that our relationships determine the quality of our lives. They look forward in grand anticipation to serving you.
